Sandra began her education at Central Washington University with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Art. For several years she was content working in Cultural Resource Management as an Archaeologist but began searching for a career that involved helping people alive today. Acupuncture seemed a natural fit with its holistic approach and rich history. She relocated to San Diego to attend Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, graduating in 2004 with Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Sandra has the ability to treat interactively along with your physician, physical therapist, chiropractor or massage therapist. As a primary health care provider in the State of California Sandra can help you maneuver through today’s health care options, bridging the gap between conventional medicine with her holistic time proven specialty of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Sandra is a catalyst for healing and wellness with respect to your individual challenges and needs, she will offer dietary and lifestyle changes as well as herbal supplements to expedite the healing process.

Sandra McKay L. Ac. specializes in pain relief, pre and post operative recovery, digestive disorders, gynecology/menopause, managing side effects from chemotherapy, hospice care, depression, anxiety, smoking and addiction recovery, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, headaches, and fertility.
